animetech's rules

I. Posting: Breaking will result in warning or ban.
1. Do not post anything that could be considered highly offensive. Do not post extremely sexual, religious or political views.
2. Do not attempt to flame/troll/posthunt.
3. Do not multi post unless threads purpose is to as such
4. Do not make spam the board with mutiple threads.
5. Do not spam outside of the spammable sections. Spammable sections are Da-Intro and Da-Spam.
6. Do not harass regardless of gender, people are people.
7. Post in the appropriate section.
8. Do not post excessive amounts of images or huge ones to stretch the page or cause lag for users.
9. No rapidsuck links.


II. Signatures and avatars: Breaking these rules may result in warning or object removed without notice.
1. Standard dimension for image signature is 450x165 pixels (WxH)
2. Standard dimension for avatars is 120x120 pixels (WxH). Filesize is 40Kb
3. Limit your signature images to 2. Failure to comply after notice is given will result in deletion of excess image without prior notice.
4. Do not use a signature or avatar of graphic violence or explicit sexual nature.

III. Private messages: May result in PM privileges lost or warning
1. Use the appropriate section to ask for help, request uploads, REUPS.
2. Do not excessively PM a person to point of spamming them, send 1 per topic and if no response do not send another.
3. Do not PM anybody with vulgar material or anything that breaks any of other rules.

IV. Images
1. This may need to be reiterated but posting of excessive images to lag or stretch page is against rules.
2. Posting offensive images, this may include hentai in the wrong section will get a warning or ban.
3. No Direct Linking. Host your pictures on image hosting sites (photobucket, imageshack, tinypic, etc) before you post them here. Continuous violations will get you a warning or ban.

V. Misuse of the report button: Warning, ban.
Misusing the report button, either in spamming it or using it for trivial reasons that do not need to be reported as in not breaking rules will be penalised.

VI. Arguing:Ban or warning, posting privileges removed.
1. Conflicts between members should be sorted out via PM or other means, do not bring it into the threads. If a moderator has to get involved then it may just result in warning for both parties or further.
2. Arguing with mods is pointless, if you feel you have been treated unfairly then possibly PM a higher mod(we are all ranked same except some of us have seniority etc right now so bleh) or admin. Arguing over status, warnings etc will result in warning or ban.

VII. Linking: warn or ban.
1. No excessive amounts of links in signature or post(just a thought)
2. Do not link to offensive material or potentially malicious objects.

VII. Advertisement
1. What is our stance of this? People may advertise in SIGNATURES ONLY. Do not advertise a site containing offensive or illegal material.

Immediate bans: Permanent ban
1. Ad spam, spamming the board using a bot or manually with ads for anything will result in a ban.
2. Attempting to hack, subverse or exploit the board will result in a ban.
3. Real life threats (the serious kind) will result in a ban
4. Attempting to disrupt the community of this board in any serious way.

Moderators and admins reserve the right to ban or disallow access to the board for any reason. Rules maybe subject to change in the future, if you think what you may do maybe an infringement on the rules check them and use common sense.
